Light Adjustable Lenses

These lenses are investigational only. They have not yet been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, but are currently being researched. They are designed in such a way that their power (or strength) can be adjusted after surgery by applying a certain wavelength of light to the eye. Theoretically, this might improve your uncorrected vision after surgery, thereby decreasing your dependence on glasses.
